Dear {{ recipient.first_name_or_friend }},
We've been saying our opponents have been mobilizing. Now they have cash.
We learned last week that Kevin Sabet, a fierce opponent of marijuana policy reform throughout the country, has earmarked $2 million to fight against Prop. 64.
Sabet has made a career of working to perpetuate marijuana prohibition—which as we know, unjustly penalizes minorities and denies the state revenues that wind up going to the illicit market. Sabet's organization has not only interfered with legalization efforts, he's also worked to deny millions of patients access to medical marijuana.
Now, Sabet and his donors are pushing $2,000,000 against us—and we need your help.
Please contribute (or contribute again) to help support our efforts on behalf of Prop. 64.
It is only through your contributions and help sharing our message that we will finally secure a reasonable, intelligent framework for marijuana laws in California.
Please contribute ANY amount, small or large.
